Telefónica O2 Czech Republic operates the largest fixed and mobile network including a 3rd generation network, CDMA (for data), and UMTS, enabling voice, data and video transmission. Telefónica O2 Czech Republic is the first integrated operator in the Czech Republic, established on July 1, 2006 by a merger of leading fixed provider, Cesky Telecom, and the largest mobile operator, Eurotel, into one telecommunications company. Telefónica O2 Czech Republic is majority owned by Telefónica S.A., which operates in 26 countries.
