Personal data protection in Telefónica Czech Republic, a.s.
Telefónica Czech Republic, a.s. (hereinafter referred to as "Telefónica") would like to provide you with detailed information on the processing of your personal data you have handed over following your decision to apply for a job in Telefónica, and to inform you of your respective rights.
In the data processing Telefónica complies with the Data Protection Act No. 101/2000 Coll., as amended, Act No. 480/2004 Coll., to regulate information society services, as amended, as well as other relevant legal regulations. Please, pay reasonable attention to the said regulations.
Personal data
Telefónica collects and further processes personal data to the extent voluntarily provided by the applicant for a job, in accordance with the recruitment and selection purpose and for a stipulated period of time.
Personal data refer to one’s name, surname, degree, address, birth number, date of birth, etc. Hereunder, the personal data shall be referred to as the “Data”.
Personal Data Processing
Telefónica, its business partners and other persons process the data for the purpose stipulated above and only to the extent and for the time essential to meet this purpose.
Telefónica handles your data in accordance with the stipulated terms and conditions and makes sure that they are appropriately protected. It does not disclose them to third persons save for the cases agreed upon with you or required/ permitted by law.

The access to personal data
In case that the data you provided to us have changed, please, inform us as soon as possible to make sure that we process the latest data. Should the data processed by Telefónica be inconsistent with reality, you are entitled to correction. You are also entitled to receive information on the personal data Telefónica or other persons mentioned above process to the extent and pursuant to the terms and conditions set out in Section 12 of the Data Protection Act.
The data subject rights
Should you find out or assume that Telefónica or any of its business partners processes your Data inconsistently with the protection of your private and personal life or in conflict with law, namely when the data are inaccurate in terms of the processing purpose, you can ask Telefónica for explanation or you can request Telefónicaor the respective business partner to immediately remedy the inaccuracy. Otherwise, you can contact the Office for Data Protection. You can contact the Office directly in other cases, too. Provided that due to the data processing you would suffer other than financial infringement, a special law shall be followed when enforcing the respective damages.
