- A prestigious annual award by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic to a company for its health-supporting efforts. Telefónica O2 is the only telecommunications company in the local market to have been rewarded repeatedly.
Prestigious award for long-term contribution to combating bullying at Czech schools

- Telefónica O2 won the first prize in Via Bona 2008, awarded by Nadace Via (Via Foundation) in collaboration with a US-based Citigroup Foundation. Award for corporate philanthropy and support to general charity work was received for a long-term project called "Minimising bullying at schools" delivered by Telefónica O2 through its O2 Foundation.
Telefónica O2 - one of the country's best system integrators

- Two notches within one year scored by Telefónica O2 in the 10th annual TOP Program. Both Telefónica O2, the parent organisation, and Deltax, a 100% daughter, have been awarded among the TOP 10 businesses. This success demonstrates that although well-known as the leading provider of telecommunications services, TO2 has proved its qualities also as a system integrator and supplier of total ICT solutions.
Most desired employer of the year

- Czech citizens have identified Telefónica O2 Czech Republic as the The Most Desired Employer of the year 2008. The company received the same award in 2007.
Telefónica O2 can use the logo IT product of the year
- June 2008
- Telefónica O2 has right to use logo "The Best IT product of the year" which was granted to us by Computerworld. In the second round, Telefónica's product "O2 Managed Hosting" was called the winner in the "on-line and associated services" category. The product enables the customer to easily acquire state-of-the-art technologies without additional investment in the purchase of in-house hardware and software.
Family-friendly company award

- TO2 received the "Family-friendly company" award within a project of maternity centres called "Employment-sharing as a tool of active employment policy" thanks to the company's policy to allow its employees working from home or as a part timer.
Křesadlo ("Tinderbox") award for O2 Foundation charity work
- March 2008
- Extraordinary recognition for the company's "corporate charity work" within the Křesadlo Award, an award for "ordinary people doing extraordinary things". This award goes to a group of TO2 employees for their contribution to O2 Foundation in 2007. The award represents a symbolic thank you to those who dedicate part of their leisure time to charity work, help handicapped people or work as leaders of various organisations to rehabilitate the idea of charity work. This verdict is typically carried out by a jury composed of members of non-profit organisations, journalists and the governments (state and local).
