Working in an O2 Store involves intensive face-to-face interaction with our customers. Therefore, the applicants for this position go through a specific selection procedure called an Assessment Center (AC):

  • The first round is conducted over the telephone in the form of short interview with the representative of Human Resources.
  • If the applicant is successful in this first round, the applicant will be invited to participate in a second round in the form of an AC.
  • There the candidate will have the opportunity to meet other applicants for the same position.
  • The candidate will also have an opportunity to meet the prospective future direct superior.
  • As part of the AC, the candidate will interact with a customer in a model situation.
  • The candidate will also undergo psychological testing.
  • At the very end, the successful candidate(s) meet representatives of our company who participated in the AC and have the opportunity to discuss the position in more detail.

Training

Working in an O2 Store is not an everyday routine. As an O2 Store Consultant, you will be constantly learning something new. Particularly at the beginning of your career you will be expected to learn quickly. Our company will invest many hours of training in you and so you will need to demonstrate that it was worth it.

  • The first month of your work in O2 will be dedicated to an intense product training course in Prague, followed by additional training
  • During this introductory training, you will gain a wide range of knowledge about our products, learn how to use our internal computer systems, and learn how to communicate effectively with our customers.
  • At the end of your training you will pass an official exam and receive an official certificate of O2 Store Consultant
  • Every new employee is assigned a dedicated “Guarantor” (mentor) – an experienced colleague, whose role is to help with the adaptation period

Your professional development does not stop after the adaptation period. There are other special training activities planned for every year.

Professional development

If you have performed well in your job and later decide that you would like to pursue a different career path and further professionally develop within O2, we will support you in your efforts.

  • As an O2 Store Consultant you can become a specialist on marketing or sales teams.
  • Alternatively, you can focus on new employee training and become an Internal Trainer.

If you decide that you would like to further develop your career in sales, you could become a Deputy Store Manager, then potentially a Store Manager or you could join our sales teams which take care of our business clients.
